# Cedar

> Habits, todos, a focus timer, notes and countdowns in one calm app, for Android, iPhone, Mac (with a menu bar timer) and the web. Android is in testing.

Cedar is made by AshterNext in India. It has no ads, no tracking and no AI features of its own. Sign-in is with Google only. Data is stored with Supabase in the EU (Ireland); countdown photos and the lock on locked notes stay on the device. It isn't in the app stores yet.

## Claude and ChatGPT

Add Cedar as a custom connector (remote MCP server, OAuth) at https://bynazngipcjorwfabezx.supabase.co/functions/v1/mcp. The assistant acts as the signed-in user and sees only their data. Locked notes show their title only.

- `get_today`: Where today stands: habits due and their streaks, todos overdue and due, focus time so far and the nearest countdown.
- `list_todos`: Your todos: open, due today, upcoming or done, optionally with one tag.
- `add_todo`: Add a todo, with a due date and time, a reminder, tags or a repeat.
- `complete_todo`: Tick a todo off, or untick it. A repeating todo adds its next copy, as the app does.
- `list_habits`: Your habits: schedule, day plans, streaks, success rate and recent days.
- `mark_habit`: Mark a habit’s day done, relapsed or ignored, or clear it, with a note if you like.
- `list_notes`: Your notes, newest first, by search or section. Locked notes show their title only.
- `add_note`: Add a note. You can lock it on your device afterwards.
- `list_countdowns`: Countdowns still ahead, nearest first, with the days left.
- `add_countdown`: Start a countdown to a date and time.
- `focus_summary`: Finished focus sessions over recent days, by day and by todo.
